. Generally speaking, a gradual upward trend was observed for both

USA

and

Sweden

over the 100 years period. Interestingly, the

proportion

Japan

also

showed an

overall

upward pattern,

although

it experienced a long plateau between 1940 to 2030 before experienced a significant spike to 2040. In 1940, all the three

countries

had similar

proportion

value, ranging from 8 - 10%. The

proportion

USA

had two plateaus:

one

happened between 1940 to 1960 and another

one

happened between 1980 to 2020. Between each plateaus, a significant increase was noticed, making the graph reached its peak at approximately 23% in 2040. A similar trend was seen in

Sweden

where it had 3 spikes: the first

one

is between 1940 to 1980, the second

one

is between 1990 to 2010, and the

last

one

is between 2030 to 2040. It got into its peak in 2040 at 25%.

Conversely

, a long plateau was shown in

Japan

before it spike significantly between 2030 to 2040. In conclusion, all

USA

Sweden

and

Japan

experienced an increase in the

proportion

of the population aged 65 and over between 1940 and 2040. The

countries

proportion

started at similar value in 1940 and ended in similar value as well in 2040, varying between 23 - 25%.

In recent years, a variation in the world economy has led to a swing in the cost of living in many countries. Although some people say they just need a job that provides them an income for living, others believe that a salary from the employer is not necessary and they just need experience and skills given by the company. In the following paragraphs, both views and my opinion on choosing a job will be outlined before a conclusion is reached.

This topic is like the two sides of a coin. Learning english at school is important because it is the language that is used globally. However, learning local language is also important to preserve our original culture. To balance the two side, local language has to be taught also at school according to where the school is founded. Learning local language can also enrich our knowledge about who we are and our culture, and we can always also learn others' culture.
