The graph below gives information from a 2008 report about consumption of energy in the USA since 1980 with projections until 2030.
The graph shows information about the consumption of
energy
by fuel in the USA since 1980 with projections until 2030. If we look in detail, in 1980 the majority of consumption was three and they were obtained by Natural gas, Coal and petrol, with respectively 15,20 and 35.
Furthermore
, between 1980 and 2030, these three sources have had an incredible increase because they are the main sources used in the USA. indeed, renewable
energy
wasn’t used in the past and
also
in the future and
this
is very wrong. For ,instance Nuclear, Solar and Hydropower
energy
in 1980 had all the same results at 4% but in 2030 we have a few increases in these resources because governments don’t invest.
To sum up
, in the future petrol and oil will be the main sources in the USA with almost 50 quadrillion units
while
hydropower is the least used with 3%.
According to
me, the best solution is investing in renewable
energy
to avoid pollution and other problems.
