Dear Mr Ali,
Firstly
, I regret to inform you that I have to leave the course and fly back to my home town today. Unfortunately, I did not have enough time to thank you for all the efforts you made in
this
course,
additionally
, is worth mentioning that I have learnt a lot from you in
this
short period.
Secondly
, I received a phone call from my brother to tell me that, my grandfather is in critical condition, and he asked to see me as soon as possible;
therefore
, I booked the first flight for today, and I decided to write you
this
letter.
Moreover
,
although
I attended only 2 months from the course, I learnt a lot about investing in the international markets;
consequently
, I decided to communicate with you for
further
information. By the end, you will find my phone number written on the back of
this
letter, and I hope to hear from you soon. Yours Sincerely, Ahmed Elnahhas

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.
