comparing the years 1999 and 2004.
Overall
the
sales
of coffee increased from 1990 to 2004 in each country but the one that had the biggest rise was the UK, meanwhile, the data for the
sales
of bananas was relatively similar, there were some variances especially in Belgium and Sweden because the number of
sales
decreased. Even though all the
sales
of countries that sold coffee went up, the figures for the UK increased significantly from 1.5 million in 1999 to 20 million in 2004,
while
the
sales
for Denmark and Sweden did not grow as much, just 0.2 from 1.8 to 2 and 0.8 to 1 respectively.
On the other hand
,
sales
in Switzerland and Denmark rose from 3 to 6 and 1 to 1.7 in 2004.
However
, the
sales
of bananas were less consistent, some countries presented positive numbers but others didn't . The UK had an important rise from 15 to 47, Switzerland from 1 to 5.5 and Denmark from 0.6 to 4, but the
sales
in other countries fell like Belgium from 1.8 to 1 and Sweden from 2 to 0.9.
