Dear Mr. Davidson, I am writing to you to apologize for the inconvenience that has been occurring because of the noise from our end since
last
 week.
First,
let me explain the reasons for
this
 unpleasant situation. Actually, we have been renovating our kitchen because we need more space in it and want modern facilities that can save us time. Since all the family members are away during the day time for their respective jobs and university lectures, we have asked the carpenters to do the
work
 in the evenings, so we can present and guide them. As they initiate the
work
 late in the evening, they continue to
work
 till late in the night, and it causes lots of disturbance. Certainly,
this
 is not the right decision, and I admit that it was our mistake to choose the uncommon times for renovation. We are wholeheartedly sorry for
this
 trouble. I hope
this
 will not affect our relationship, and you will not complain about it to the building secretary. Actually, we have already taken positive action as soon as we receive your letter. We have decided that one of our family members will stay at home for the entire day;
therefore
, the workers will be able to finish the
work
 from morning to late afternoon. Once you are back from your office, you will not face any more hassle from our side. I hope

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
