, it is apparent that sustenance and tobacco are the most bought items, dwarfing that of other categories.
With regard to food and drinks and tobacco, Irish and Turkish customers were the dominant spenders, sharing similar numbers at roughly 29% and 32% respectively. These figures were almost two-fold the proportions in Italy and Sweden as they constituted approximately 16% and 15% of their customer’s budgets, which are slightly lesser than that of Spanish users at about 19%.
Clothing and footwear are significantly less spent on compared to the former. The expenditure of Italian citizens stood at 9%, exceeding a meagre 5.4% of Swedish residents. Ireland, Spain, and Turkey shared major similarities in terms of clothing and footwear spending, accounting for 6% of consumer’s total budget. Leisure and education witnessed the lowest spending.
