You are applying for a job and you need a letter of reference. Write a letter to a former boss.

Dear Mr.Simmons, I, Avinashi ,your former employee writing
this
letter to ask you for a favour. I have applied for the post of headmistress in one of the prominent school chains,The Oxford Senior School.
Firstly
, After I left your school six months ago
due to
a prolonged illness,as per the doctor's advice I had to be bedridden for a fast recovery. Not only did
this
help me to recuperate earlier than the given time, but
also
made me healthier. I applied for the post of headmistress because I have all the desired qualifications from being a doctorate to having served in an educational institute for more than fifteen years as a senior teacher.
Additionally
, I have all my teacher training certificates
along with
expertise in organizing seminars. The only thing which I currently need is a letter of reference. Could you please provide me with one? I could never find a better person than you because you know how I have worked under your guidance. I am looking forward to getting a positive response. Yours Sincerely, Avinashi

Use a variety of complex and simple sentences

You should use complex sentences in your writing, but it does not mean that you should try to make all of our sentences complex.

‘Complex’ sentences are not actually very complex; they are just two or more simple sentences put together. Putting them together makes the essay more coherent and cohesive.

Examples:

I really want to study but I’m too tired.

I wore a warm coat because the weather was cold.

If action is not taken soon on climate change, global warming will get worse.
