Write a letter to a newspaper editor about the poor condition of a historic building in your area. In the letter you should What building are you writing about? Describe the current condition of the building What should be done in this situation
Dear Sir,
I am writing to you with regard to a monumental old building closest to us, which is currently at great risk of being completely destroyed.
I am a resident of 22nd Street, and I have been living here since I was a child. There is a magnificent historic hotel just beside our apartment. As far as I know, its construction dates back to the early 20th century and It has been left empty since 1995.
Despite the
overall
untouched outlook of the building, it is falling down from the inside. Since we live exactly beside it, we can clearly hear the sound of its bricks falling apart. Sometimes, especially when the weather condition is unstable and rainy, the generated sounds are really frightening.
I think local authorities ,who are mostly responsible for the maintenance of this
place, are either unaware of the potential consequences of this
issue or even neglecting it; whatever it is, your intervention in this
matter could be of significant importance and tremendously help the situation to ameliorate as soon as possible.
I look forward to the problem being publicly reported by your professional team.
Yours Faithfully,
