You are living in a university residence, and you have a problem with the high levels of noise from a new campus restaurant which is open late at night. Write a letter to the governor of the University. In your letter, Complain about the situation Say why this is a problem And propose ways to reduce the noise
Dear Mr. Johnson,
I am a freshman at the Faculty of Economy and I am writing to complain about the noise from the
restaurant
on the university campus.
As you know, as our dormitory is located near the restaurant
and it is open until midnight, a number of students living there are suffering from insomnia due to
the noisy atmosphere of the restaurant
.
Although
the restaurant
is famous for its tasty meals and fast services, it causes a lot of problems among the inhabitants of the dormitory. The first complaint is that we can not concentrate on our studies because of loud music. To make matters worse, all of us have difficulty getting up early since we stay up late as well and do not sleep well enough during the night.
I would be grateful if you could limit the working hours of the restaurant
which would be better if it is available till 8 p.m.
I look forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience.
Yours faithfully,

coherence cohesion
While the overall structure of the letter is good, it can benefit from more clear logical connectors to improve the flow of information from one point to the next. Consider adding phrases that more explicitly link your ideas together.
task achievement
The task has been generally achieved with clear complaints, explanations of the problem, and proposed solutions. However, to receive a higher score, the letter should provide additional details or examples to fully support the complaints and proposed solutions.
