The graph below shows the number of shops that closed and the number of new shops that opened in one country between 2011 and 2018.
The given line graph illustrates how many

closed down from 2011 to 2018, as well as
the shops
that opened up in a particular country during the given time period. Overall
, an interesting point of note is that the stores that were closed suddenly plunged in 2015, while
the stores that were opened fluctuated throughout the seven-year period.
With regards to the number of shop closures, it started at above 6000 in the beginning year and then
rose to above 7000 two years later. Interestingly, it suddenly plummeted to just under 1000 by the end
of 2015, but it went up again to nearly 5000 in 2016. Afterwards, it finally
ended up with a total of roughly 5000 shops
by the end
of 2018.
Meanwhile, the number of shop openings began at about 8500; however
, it fell dramatically to just 4000 in the following year, and then
it climbed to over 6000 by the end
of 2014. Nevertheless
, it dropped to just 4000 in 2015 and remained constant at 4000 until 2016. After that, it was found to rise moderately to just above 4000, and it was observed a considerable decrease at the
