Overall
, it is evident that no matter what the year was, walking and soccer always remained the favourite pastimes for a large proportion of the population. It is noticeable that most of the popular leisure activities remained the same in both years.
To begin
with, in 1999, a huge part of the population favoured walking, playing soccer and performing aerobics in their free time.
However
, there was a clear change in preferences in 2009. Though walking dominated in the survey, it decreased slightly by 2%. The favouritism for soccer increased by 1%, which was almost negligible,
while
, the number of people doing aerobics had fallen down to 4% from 13%.

, yoga was taken down from the list by 2009 and was replaced by weightlifting.

gained a lot of popularity as a hobby among people by 9% in 2009. Other activities
