The pie charts display the electric efficiency development and the major source of energy in the USA between two different years, which are 1980 and 1990.

, the statistic is similar over two given years, even though few changes are present. The main resources in both years are oil and natural gas. The first one took approximately 40% in 1980,

in the next decade, it became one-third of the whole production. The oil vitality takes roughly a quarter in both given terms. The third biggest category is coal strength, which claimed nearly 20% in 1980,
