These two maps show changes in a small
village
called Stokeford between 1930 and 2010.
In the 1930s, the village
consisted of a lot of farmland and a small number of houses. There was also
a primary school located near the road and two shops opposite this
school, to the left of the post office.
In 2010 the village
has changed: there are more houses now than there were in 1930. The gardens have been replaced by a Retirement Home, the farmlands and shops had
been removed, and the primary school Wrong verb form
