many people believe that nations all around the world and people should consider protecting biodiversity as their top priority, others claim that

effort and resources should be directed at solving existing domestic problems. The following essay is going to discuss both views and share my opinion about the given statement. On one hand, many people support preserving endangered wildlife since the mass extinction of organisms could disrupt the balance of the ecosystem.

, each species plays a vital role in the food chain,

the disappearance of specific types of animals could lead to a critical imbalance in the local area. Taking deer in North America National Park as an example, without the presence of coyotes, they grow dramatically in number,
