The given line graph compared the average expenditure on eight different items for families in one country between 1968 and 2018.
It was clear that household weekly spending became more varied from the amount of money concentrated on
food
to that separated equally to others over the period of fifty years,especially housing,transport and leisure
.
In 1968,Food
accounted for the largest percentage of average spending by households among given items,at around 35 per cent
.While
housing ,full and power,and leisure
were the second largest of that,at nearly 10 per cent
.By contrast
,the other items just stood at around 7 per cent
,which was far less than the average cost of food
.
In 2018,expenditure on food
dramatically dropped and finally
fell to half of it in 1968,at nearly 17 per cent
,whereas
spending on housing,transport and leisure
significantly increased.the figures for housing and transport were twice more than

time ,at around 18 and 14 respectively and the figure for leisure
was three times more than that in 1968,which was the biggest increase of
