The given chart illustrates the proportion of a certain Caribbean island’s visitors from 2010 to 2017 in two categories based on the accommodation they chose. In general, the number of tourists who chose each category increased throughout the given period.
According to
the graph, among a

tourists in 2010, 3 out of 4 people chose to live on the island
while
the remaining stayed on cruise ships. In the following year, the number of visitors living on the island remained the same before it doubled in 2013. and remained stable until the end of the period.
However
, the quantity declined to almost 1.2

in 2016. In terms of guests staying on cruise ships,

the number rose to twice what it was
initially
in 2011, it went back to a quarter

in the next year. In the following years, it gradually grew and exceeded the other category between 2015 and 2016.
