I side with several people who believe that those who do not engage with social media will hinder themselves from future career development. This will be proven by discussing the benefits of social media, such as catering for your need for ideas and innovations if used wisely, and giving you a wide selection of job vacancies in your desired fields.

While I think that there is some truth in this, increased choice is ultimately a positive trend because it opens up options outside the mainstream.

Nevertheless, some love to stay where they have born, mostly due to the emotional attachments. Such a decision has advantages as well as disadvantages.
