The pie charts show the sources of electricity in the four countries from 2003 to 2008. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant.
The pie charts above visually illustrate the sources of electricity in the four countries, which are India, Sweden, Morocco, and Vietnam, between 2003 and 2008. In general, it can be seen that Morocco and Sweden majorly relied on
hydropower
,
while
Vietnam and India were majorly dependent on fossil fuels. In Morocco, almost all energy used was
hydropower
,
whereas
fossil fuel was only used for a tiny fraction. Similar to the former,
hydropower
was majorly exploited in Sweden with just over a half proportion of usage,
while
nuclear was used at 44% and a very small number was for fossil fuel. In Vietnam,
on the other hand
, fossil fuels were most utilised (56%),
while
the rest of the percentage was for
hydropower
. Fossil fuel was
also
widely exploited in India, accounting for 95%, less than a fifth for
hydropower
, and only a small amount for nuclear power.
