The maps below show an industrial area in the town of Norbiton, and planned future development on the site.
The two maps give information about the present constitution and future evolution of the part of Norbiton town.
Overall
, it can be clearly seen that the main development takes place in the central side of the area from the South to the North where the road is going to be changed drastically
as well as
the Eastern sector where some amenities will be built. Other places,
however
, remain quite unchanged. Before the improvement, the factory buildings can be observed on the central and Eastern sections of the landscape which is located on the South bank of the river. The road links
this
industrial place with the main highway. As a detail of the improvement, all industrial buildings on the Eastern side are expected to be replaced by households, schools and playgrounds. The road net is improved as well. Meanwhile, the factory complex in the central segment of the location is planned to be replaced by mixed houses and amenities,
such
as shops and a medical centre. The bridge construction through the river can be observed as the most challenging progress on the second map.
This
bridge connects the main area with the little neighbourhood on the northern bank of the river.
