The plans for the Southwest Airport in its current state and after the development in the upcoming year are illustrated below.
Overall
, the most significant improvement will be the addition of gates,
as well as
 the development of a newer means of transportation by sky train rather than a walkway. It is evident that ten more gates will be constructed next year,
whereas
 right now there are only eight gates available at the site. Other than the sky train replacing the walkway, it is noticeable that a station will be added to the arrivals section at the right corner, enabling passengers to hire cars.

 the arrivals’ partition lacks many facilities at present, it will be equipped with a café and an ATM by the next year.
Furthermore
, as for the departures section, a station for dropping bags is going to be located
instead
 of the current check-in area, thereby moving the check-in area to the right end of the departures salon.
