The visual data given shows the policy budget for 2017 and 2018 in a certain area of Britain. There are two types of data,
firstly
there is a table showing the
sources
of financial
funds
, showing three
sources
of
funds
: the national government, local taxes, and other
sources
. The second data is a pie chart of the allocated spending,
also
consisting of three parts: salaries for officers and staffs, technology, and
lastly
for building and transport. There is clearly an
increase
of income from 304.7
million
euros
in 2017 to 318.6
million
euros
in 2018. The
increase
mainly came from local taxes, with an addition of 11.1
million
euros
from 91.2
million
euros
in 2017 to 102.3
million
euros
in 2018. There was
also
a slight
increase
of around 2
million
euros
from national
funds
and around 0.5
million
euros
from other
sources
. Aside from the
increase
of funding, there were
also
changes in the budget of
this
area. From the initial 75% of the
funds
used for salaries, it decreased to just 69% in 2018. The budget for technology nearly doubled from 8% in 2017 to 14% in 2018. Meanwhile, the allocated
funds
for buildings and transport remained stagnant at 17%. In conclusion, the main source of funding came from the national government, and most of it is spent on the salary of offices and staff. There was an
increase
in
funds
from 2017 to 2018.
