The given map illustrates how the waterfront area of a town called Darwin developed over a 5 years period from 2009 to 2014.
The maps illustrate how the area of a waterfront developed over half of a decade. At first glance, it can be clearly seen that the industrial area has transformed with the addition of structures and the growth of trees.
Firstly
, in the centre of the map, three residential houses had been added at the location of the old industrial area.
Additionally
, a university building was constructed followed by a new group of trees with a footpath that leads to a new harbour that has just been built at the seaside.
Secondly
, on the northeast side of the map, no transformation can be noticed.
Moreover
, at the top of the map, not many changes can be found in the region. The only difference that can be seen is the construction of a swimming pool situated in the old industrial space.
