Write about the following topic: Some people believe that teaching children at home is best for a child’s development while others think that it is important for children to go to school. Discuss the advantages of both methods and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

More and more parents are beginning to embrace homeschooling for their children.
While
some believe that
this
option is the best for a
child
’s growth, there are others who strongly think going to a physical
school
is more important.
Although
there are many advantages to both options, I think that the pros of physical schooling far outweigh those of homeschooling. The major advantage that comes with being homeschooled is that a
child
gets to learn at their own pace.
As a result
of the focused attention from their parent or guardian, the
child
is not put under undue pressure and lessons can be repeated as many times as necessary for them to understand. Another advantage is the absence of unhealthy competition, bullying and other negative side-effects that are associated with going to a physical
school
.
As a result
, the
child
is able to have a wholesome learning experience devoid of traumatic experiences.
On the other hand
, going to a physical
school
also
comes with its own advantages.
First,
the daily routine of having to wake up, prepare for
school
and attend structured classes tends to instil a deep sense of discipline into children.
This
core life skill has lasting positive effects on the lives of children.
Secondly
, by getting to interact with other kids from diverse backgrounds, schoolchildren are able to build social and interpersonal skills that are necessary to help them thrive. To sum it up, both schooling methods have their positive sides. Homeschooling allows for personalized learning without some negative side effects
while
going to
school
with peers allows for interpersonal skills to be developed.
However
, it is my opinion that the best approach for a
child
’s development is for them to go to
school
. The chances of having a well-rounded
child
in terms of academics and social skills are higher when they get to learn in a structured environment
along with
their mates.
