You should spend about 20 minutes on this task. You recently attended a meeting at a hotel. When you returned home, you found you had left some important papers at the hotel. Write a letter to the manager of the hotel. In your letter • say where you think you left the papers • explain why they are so important • tell the manager what you want him/her to do Write at least 150 words.
Dear Sir,
I am writing
this
letter to enquire about some important paper that I left during my visit. My name is Tarun Mittal from Toronto, Canada. This
morning at about 11 am, I attended a meeting in your newly made conference hall unfortunately, immediately after finishing my work, I got an emergency call from family due to
which I had to leave the place in a hurry. There is a strong possibility that I left my bag with some documents in the room.
Moving the importance of the documents that I forgot are originally a contract in the form of paper that was signed between our team and the royal group for the construction of the building without which our project could not have been started which could be the cause of financial loss for our firm as I have already purchased raw material on credit. Also
, the papers contain the precautions that workers have to follow during the construction work.
I am hopeful that you will understand the seriousness of the matter. I would greatly appreciate it if I could get my documents back before the end of the week. I am happy to provide you with any of the additional evidence to prove the items belong to me.
I am expecting a positive response from you soon.
Yours faithfully,
Tarun Mittal.Submitted by mtarun663 on

Task Achievement
To improve your task response, ensure that you directly address each requirement of the task prompt clearly and succinctly. While your letter does an excellent job overall, focusing on being even more specific about the actions you wish the hotel manager to take could enhance clarity and effectiveness.
Coherence and Cohesion
For coherence and cohesion, try to connect your ideas more smoothly within and across paragraphs. Using a wider variety of cohesive devices (e.g., however, furthermore, in addition) could help make your text flow even better. Also, ensuring that each paragraph deals with a distinct aspect of your letter can further improve clarity and organization.
