The maps below show changes in the Spanish city of Castellon in recent times.
The maps illustrate the changes which took place in the
city
of Spain named Castellon between 2000 and the present day.
Overall
, it can be clearly seen that the region has turned from a rural city
into an urban city
from 2000 to nowadays.
In 2000, Castellon had very few facilities and infrastructure. The landscape was mostly undeveloped with a number of trees and unused spaces in the town on the eastern side
of the area. There was the train station and the old market on the western side
, and the city
centre in the middle of the area. In addition
, the northern side
of the city
had the university, and the southern side
had the road and the airport.
Today, the number of buildings has increased. For example
, in the east, a new shopping mall has been taken into the forest and a new covered market has been added. Moreover
, the western side
of the city
had a new shop replacing the old market and a hall of residence has been built. The road has been arranged only
pedestrians. Cinemas, bars and clubs have been constructed on the southern Change preposition
for only
side
of the region. There is a tramline which connects the way between the university and the city
centre. Another interesting change is that in the city
center
, a bike rental scheme has been erected.Change the spelling
centre
