some countries have experienced dramatic growth
in metropolitan residences, the number
of individuals in these countries has been being increased respectively.
First of all, in 1970 Indonesia had the lowest amount in population
of cities
with slightly more than one in ten. However
, this
amount surged sharply by 35% in the next 40 years and overcame Thailand and the Philippines, in 2000 and 2010 respectively. Also
, it is predicted that Indonesia will experience a 15% growth
by 2040. Second of all, Malaysia has seen a skyrocketing growth
in its cities
' population
and by 2020 this
number
doubled, from 30% to 70%. Furthermore
, Malaysian cities
' residents will increase by more than one-tenth by 2040 and it will reach at peak.
However
, the Philippines in 1970 had the highest portion of population
in its cities
with more than one-third in total. After a fluctuating movement in the next 30 years, it saw a 10% increase as well as
gradual growth
by 2040 when the population
will be halved. Also
, Thailand after a 10% increase in the number
of citizens from 1970 to 1990, had a plateau movement until 2020 and it is predicted that its population
