the charts below show the main reasons why students chose a particular university in the UK , in 1997 and 2007
The given figure describes the primary reasons why tutees opt for a specific institution in the UK from the years 1997and 2007.
Overall
it has been observed that students selected the university where they have suitable degree courses in both years and started to focus less on the colleges that offer sports and social activities, understanding that quality
of teaching matters.
One reason that increased drastically from 1997 to 2007 is the proximity to parental home from 10% in 1997 to 22% in 2007 and two reasons had declined are quality
of resources from 21% to 17% and good sports and social activities from 19% to 6%.
On the other hand
, there is a slow increase in students preferring suitable degree courses from 35% to 37% and quality
of teaching from 15% to 18% which is a good initiative by the students so they can receive quality
content for better degree.Submitted by hv10064 on
