, the numbers vary from city to city. Cities in the United Kingdom tend to have a higher average salary compared to those in Scotland.
In terms of England, people from London, Cambridge and Bristol have the highest average wage while
people in London, which has the largest sample (50951 people) and highest income, earn 33,634 pounds annually, followed by Cambridge, at 29,854. Whereas
residents in Manchester and Birmingham earned the least within England whose earnings are only two-thirds of London's.
In regard to Scotland, the statistics have only recorded two areas, namely Glasgow and Edinburgh. The employees in these locations have an average income of 26,150 to 27,592. Compared to the figures from England, Edinburgh has a similar figure to the one from Bristol with the former at 27,828 and the latter at 27,592, with less than 200 pounds in difference.Submitted by puimei822 on
