More and more people nowadays are learning on the Internet of going to class. What are the advantages of learning online? Do you think online learning can totally replace the classroom learning?

Since the Covid-19 era, many daily activities have changed drastically, and the learning experience is not an exception, as someone who has experienced first-hand all types of classroom environments: the completely offline before Covid, the remote-only during. and the hybrid format afterwards,
Although
I do not agree that classrooms will be substituted for online platforms, as it absolutely has some drawbacks, I can certainly advocate that hybrid learning will continue to be a game-changer in the education sector as the benefits of merging the two learning experiences outweigh the shortcomings. Regarding the main disadvantage of online learning, many people experience a sense of isolation. Because virtual classrooms can never provide the same ambience as a real one.
For example
, minor human interactions like small chats and eye contact, and hanging out after class, are impossible online. Clearly, it might seem trivial but I assure you not, they are a foundation for some of the most meaningful relationships. Personally, I remember the first friend I had in school, she asked to borrow my green pencil, and it was the start of a life-long friendship, people who rely only on online learning will miss these kinds of experiences.
However
,
this
is not a drastic issue, which can be tackled by engaging in other sorts of activities to fulfil the human need for connection, as online learning enables one to study in the most prestigious educational institutes in the comfort of their homes, which lessens other expanses of travel and accommodation,
For instance
, some platforms like Coursera enabled me and millions of people to study in British universities
while
residing in our home countries,
this
has been of huge benefit to those who suffer some physical disabilities or financial drawbacks. Ultimately, and in light of what we have discussed, and upon the fact that most of the world-leading educational institutes are now adopting the hybrid format of teaching, I can see a future where kids go to schools online in the morning, and engage in fun group learning activities in the afternoon, to reap the benefits of both worlds.
