The given chart illustrates the proportion of British employees in 2005 in various working areas

Overall
, men tended to be involved in managerial jobs like skilled trades, senior officials, and professional occupations
while
women were more common in sales and customer
service
, administrative and secretarial
as well as
personal
service
. Looking at the percentage of males in different works in the period, boys especially tended to work in skilled trades
as well as
manager and senior officials with 20% and about 18% respectively. These figures in 4 other working areas
such
as professional, associate professional and technical, plan and machine operatives, and elementary were nearly equal, from about 12% to 14%
while
the rates of guys working in the three occupations left were very low, around 5% for both sales and customer
service
along with
administrative and secretarial, and only about 2% for personal
service
