The two maps below show an island before and after the construction of some tourist facilities.
The maps depict an
island
before and after some renovation works for tourists and compare the shifts on the
island
for the construction.
Overall
, the
island
witnessed dramatic transformations from completely bare land to a tourist destination. Before the construction of some facilities,
this
place was an uninhabited
island
surrounded by sea and a small beach without any buildings or tourist facilities. East and west of the
island
had some coconut trees
while
the rest of it was only an open space. Moving onto the second map, there is a pier which is situated in the south of the area. To the north of the pier, there is a
reception
building located in the middle of
this
and bordered by a vehicle track and a restaurant on the northern side of the
reception
. On the western side of the
reception
, there is an accommodation including a group of houses located in a circular form ,which is smaller than that on the eastern side of the
reception
.
Additionally
, both of them are surrounded by footpaths and the western accommodation has a footpath leading to the beach which is now suitable for swimming.
