The table and charts below give information on the police budget for 2017 and 2018 in one area of Britain. The table show where the money came from and the charts show how it was distributed.
This
report derives from the above table and pie chart which enumerates sources of police income which were three categories namely, national government, local taxes, and other sources
such
as grants. And on what it was spent. As an initial overview, the budget in 2018 was fairly higher than in 2017. Not only is
this
point clear, but
also
spending on wedges decreased from 2017 to 2018. Notably, most of the money came from the national government, with 175.5 million pounds in 2017 and 117.8 million pounds in 2018.
Additionally
, the amount of money which the three sources made jumped between 2017 and 2018.
Moreover
, the difference between the income in both years was 13.9 million pounds. By looking at the pie chart, the percentage of the money which was used in buildings and transportation was the same in 2017 and 2018. Adding more, 8% of the budget was spent on technology in 2017.
On the contrary
, 14% was used in technology in 2018.
