In 2000, the ages 35 to 49 gave the highest amount of money to charity at approximately 39% of donors
. The second highest donors
in 2000 were in the age
group of 50 to 64 at around 38%, followed by 65 and over at 31%. The two age
groups that donated the least were the 25 to 34 at around 29% and the 18 to 24 age
group at only 20%.
In 2015, the 50 to 64 age
group had the highest percentage
of donors
at 37%. The second highest donors
were the 65 and over and also
the 35 to 49 age
range with the same percentage
of donors
which was 34%. the ages ranged from 25 to 34 and 18 to 24 remained the two lowest percentages at only 25% and 11% respectively.
In conclusion, the 35 to 49 and 50 to 64 age
groups were the age
groups with the highest percentage
