The two maps illustrate the number of modifications that have been undergone by the central library in twenty years of the period to date.
Overall
, it can be seen from both diagrams of the central library, that everything has been replaced and used for other purposes. A new café had been built and removed tables and chairs in the middle of the library. The size of the CDs section has been increased and mainly all doors’ directions have been changed except the children’s
books
place. It is conspicuous that the CD’s videos and computer lab have been converted into a big size and put two sofas and have children’s fiction
books
and storytelling events. The adult fiction
books
section was replaced with all reference
books
.
In addition
, the reading room ( newspapers and magazines) was replaced with a modern computer area. A new café has been set up in place of an enquiry desk (tickets, book returns, etc) and on the north side of the café three self-service machines have been installed, where students can get drinks and juices at an information desk and adult fiction
books
also
in
this
area. Probing ahead, the children’s room has been converted into a lecture area, where professors deliver lectures to their students.
Furthermore
in the middle, tables and chairs used to be used for readers but they have been removed to make a more convenient space for students.
