went from a greener and residential neighbourhood
to a primarily industrial area. Some noteworthy additions were the construction of a petrol station and apartments, which enhanced the range of amenities available in the area.
In 1920, the town was a mostly green area with trees occupying the south and some parts in the north. A row of houses and a shop could be found in the centre and west part of the map
, which was separated by Oak Avenue situated in the centre. Additionally

had witnessed some major changes. The factory was knocked down and replaced with the Yang Office Complex. In the meantime, the Prestwich primary school was relocated to the south, and a new Lonoco petrol station was constructed in its location. Moreover
