In general, the biofuel production process includes three main stages: harvesting and processing plant materials, converting it into

, using it for transportation and continuing to repeat the cycle. The first stage, when plants and trees absorb light from the sun and carbon dioxide in the environment, grow rapidly. When mature, they are harvested mechanically before being processed. The machine will divide plants into small parts to secrete cellulose. In the next stage, the cellulose is transported to the laboratory where it is chemically processed into sugar. Bacteria added to these sugars facilitate fermentation and produce ethanol
