Philippines
had a similar portion of the population living in urban areas.

, since 2000, there has been a notable percentage difference in those two countries. In the predicted year 2030, the gap in the population residing in urban areas between
Malaysia
and the
Philippines
reached an all-time high with a massive 30% difference.

, in 1990 and 1970, the
Philippines
had a higher amount of people living in burg compared to
Malaysia
