There is no doubt that family is one of the most impactful influences on a child's development.
However
, there are many
people
who believe that other factors play a greater role in shaping a child's early life in today's time and age.
This
short essay will look at and analyze both arguments. Obviously, forces external to one's family play an important role in how children grow up and develop. These factors -
such
as social media, music, television and friends - have more effect than ever in these changing times. Children are exposed to digital media much more than they were in the past. They will pick up new languages, mannerisms and beliefs based on what they see online, on television and from their friends as well.

often end up having problems with themselves later on in life. Meanwhile, those who were raised in a warm and nurturing environment usually show more confidence and self-respect when they grow up. To wrap things up, I believe that family is the most crucial factor that shapes who a child grows up to be in life.
Although
it is no secret that there are other external factors that definitely have an impact, I'd argue that family is the biggest one.

Include an introduction and conclusion

A conclusion is essential for IELTS writing task 2. It is more important than most people realise. You will be penalised for missing a conclusion in your IELTS essay.

The easiest paragraph to write in an essay is the conclusion paragraph. This is because the paragraph mostly contains information that has already been presented in the essay – it is just the repetition of some information written in the introduction paragraph and supporting paragraphs.

The conclusion paragraph only has 3 sentences:

  • Summary
  • Restatement of thesis
  • Prediction or recommendation

Example:

To summarize, a robotic teacher does not have the necessary disciple to properly give instructions to students and actually works to retard the ability of a student to comprehend new lessons. Therefore, it is clear that the idea of running a classroom completely by a machine cannot be supported. After thorough analysis on this subject, it is predicted that the adverse effects of the debate over technology-driven teaching will always be greater than the positive effects, and because of this, classroom teachers will never be substituted for technology.

Start your conclusion with a linking phrase. Here are some examples:

  • In conclusion
  • To conclude
  • To summarize
  • Finally
  • In a nutshell
  • In general
