Dear Sir or Madam,
Hope you are well. I am writing
this
letter to request alternate accommodation as I am having issues with my current roommate, John around his disregard for my need for quiet time to study and complete coursework.
Since we started the semester, John has been difficult to live and share space with due to
him playing music very loudly into the wee hours of the night. I have tried to discuss this
and come to a solution which is agreeable to both me and him, but he is very dismissive anytime I try to raise this
with him. The loud music not only affects my academic performance but also
my sleep. In addition
to the loud music, he also
has his friends over without prior notice for parties which involves
drinking. As a Muslim, I cannot be around people drinking as it is a sin to consume or be around alcohol. We discussed Correct subject-verb agreement

topic and came to an understanding that he will let me know beforehand anytime they plan to drink in our room so I will make other arrangements to not be in this
room. We have had numerous arguments on these problems but it seems we cannot find a middleground

If you approve this
request for alternate accomodation
, my preference is to share a room with another male Muslim student with a good academic track record and a similar preference for quiet enjoyment.
Thank you for your time and I look forward to your response.
