The diagram gives information about the process of making carbonated drinks. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
The picture illustrates the process of producing fizzy drinks.
Overall
, the production is divided into five main stages, namely water
clearing, boiling and carbonation, blending, filling into bottles, and transportation.
At the very beginning, water
is passed through a filter to be cleaned of any grains. Then
, by using some chemical additives, cleaned water
becomes softer and goes to a pump. There it is first heated and after that, water
becomes cooler in a cooling pipe, passing through a reservoir with carbon dioxide. During the next stage, water
is put into a mixing tank to be blended with other ingredients. By the end of stage 3, carbonated water
is filtered before being packaged.
As the major process of making soda is finished, there are two options for pouring beverages. Both bottles and cans are filled with carbonated drinks and then
packed into boxes to be stored. After that, packaged drinks are loaded into trucks, which deliver sodas to supermarkets.Submitted by staciia_ju on
