Overall
, what can be seen is that coal saw the highest result in Australia, while
oil was the most unpopular resource. What stands out from the second graph is that there were dramatic changes in all categories.
Looking at the first pie chart, coal was the most popular type, which accounted for half of the chart. In the next year, it saw almost a triple increase from 50 to 130. Hydropower and natural gas were equal in the first year (20%). However
, in the next year, the former nearly doubled, while
the latter plummeted to 2%. What is more, oil also
decreased sharply, from 10% to 2%. The quantity of total production increased by 70 units
.
Regarding the second graph, total production has doubled, from 90 to 180 units
. Coal and natural gas were at the same point (25%). Nevertheless
, coal has remained unchanged, whereas
the latter plunged to only 2%, making it at least a popular resource. Moreover
, nuclear power was three times as high as hydropower in 1980. But, in 2000, nuclear power increased dramatically by eight times, while
the latter decreased to 2%. A final change is that oil grew slightly, from 20 to 25 units
