Your company has recently introduced a new work uniform. You are mostly happy with the uniform, but there is one thing that you do not like. Write a letter to your manager. In the letter say what you like about the uniform explain what you don’t you like about the uniform suggest how the uniform can be improved
I am writing to you in regard to new work outfits, which were changed
last
week.
I am quite impressed with the stitching and new seamless pattern on the shirts of everyone which shows that regardless of our position in the company, we are a part of one team.
"However
, I personally didn't like the missing pocket
on the left side of our shirts, where we used to put our name tags. This
was quite ironic for me how management can miss this
because that pocket
is not only our guide to placing name tags but also
used by lots of employees to carry work essentials like pens and so on.
I would recommend that kindly in future uniform designs add a left pocket
like it used to be in old uniforms. In order to make it even better, the extra pocket
can be added to pants near the thighs.
Hope my suggestion will be taken into consideration.
Yours faithfully,

Always start an informal letter in the ways:

‘Dear...’ is more appropriate, so stick with this.
For a formal letter there are two options for the greeting:
- Use Dear Sir or Madam if you don’t know the name of the person you are writing to.
- Use Dear + surname if you do know their name, e.g. Dear Mr Smith or Dear Mrs Jones.
