The table demonstrates the proportion of time that unemployed men and women in the United Kingdom spent on various activities over the past year. The data is divided into morning and afternoon, and it is apparent that most practical tasks among both genders were completed in the earlier hours of the day,

with, males devoted the majority of their morning to job hunting (22%), closely followed by shopping (20%) and housework (19%). In contrast
, these percentages saw a sharp decline in the afternoon, with job hunting decreasing by 10 points to 12%. Meanwhile, decorating remained stable at 7% throughout the day, while
family gatherings went up to 6%.
