Some people say History is one o f the most important school subjects. Other people think that in today’s world, subjects like Science and Technology are more important than History. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

The importance of different study materials has always been a common debate.
For instance
, people think that some subjects should be given more credit hours and or be optional

 example, there are conflicting opinions on whether is

 more or less important than STEM subjects like science and technology. As mentioned previously, a good percentage of the public believes that

 is viewed as useless and is given less attention nowadays.
As well as
 claiming that the lack of education on

 topic can result in a generation of lost souls who lack depth and fail to bond with their kind. Whether that bond is based on gender, race, or nationality.
Additionally
, reading about the
history
 of our ancestors can help us reflect on ourselves
as well as
 learn from other's mistakes.
On the other hand
, there is another group with a different take on
this
 topic. They state that teaching
history
 should not be as important as it once was. Claiming that it takes up time and effort that should be utilized for other objects that are more relevant in modern society.
Therefore
 they insist that we should invest more time in learning and preparing for what is yet to come rather than focusing on the past.
Nevertheless
, their strongest point is how we are able to use the power of technology to keep track of the entirety of human
history
 now. In conclusion, both parties provide good points. Yet picking a side and being completely devoted to its opinion might be a bit extreme. I personally think that learning
history
 does help me connect with my roots.
However
, sometimes longer classes that go into detail can be a lot to handle.
Besides
 that, I do think that we live in a generation
that is
 dominated by all kinds of science and advanced technology.
Therefore
, I think we should focus just as much on these fields if not a little more.
