Many parents send their children abroad to study. Do the advantages of this outweigh the disadvantages?

In the present day, whether many parents send their children abroad to
study
has sparked much discussion. Sending their children to
study
abroad is likely to become a more popular option among parents. In my opinion, the fact that many
students
have been sent to
study
abroad by their parents brings more advantages than disadvantages. Studying overseas creates a wide variety of benefits.
Firstly
, some individuals gain various experiences beyond their expectations from living abroad surrounded by unfamiliar circumstances.
For instance
, pupils will be able to explore new cultures, norms, and customs of those countries; helping broaden their horizons throughout entire years of
study
.
Moreover
, overseas, or what it is called international
students
are required to live with their own responsibilities. They will learn how to survive living in completely different countries compared to their hometown, which develops their management skills. To illustrate,
students
need to live apart from their families which means they are directly responsible for taking care of themselves everybody needs to learn how to clean, cook, and all skills that help on a daily basis and they need to be patient when facing unpleasant situations. These will stimulate their endurance. Most importantly, studying abroad encourages individuals to learn how to cope with people from different backgrounds in order to live in cross-cultural societies.
On the other hand
, some arguments can be made that
study
overseas has more conflicts. The main reason for
this
is that studying abroad makes
students
less bonds with their families because of the lack of commitment between members. Some studies have shown that many overseas
students
find it hard to get close

their father and mother
due to
living separately. Having considered all the arguments above, I would conclude that
study
abroad enjoys more benefits.
