In 2001, the library divided its ground floor into four main sections, with Fiction positioned at the rear, History and Self-Help on the left, and Newspapers & Periodicals on the right. The central area featured tables for reading and study,
while
 the librarian's desk was near the entrance and stairs. By 2009, significant changes were evident with Fiction and History sections relocated closer to the entrance, and a new Children's Books area established at the back. The space formerly allocated for History now housed Law, Economics, and Kitchen books.
Additionally
, the Newspapers & Periodicals section was replaced by a Films & DVDs section, adjacent to a newly incorporated computer area. Noteworthy was the replacement of the original eight tables with four longer tables.
