At first glance, it can be observed that the process involves primarily 6 steps, where one of them can be considered cyclical. On the whole, it is not a cycle in which uranium
is re-used as a fuel
all over again to produce this
energy. The process can be divided into two different stages, production and post-usage.
Firstly

is extracted from the earth. After that, it needs to be processed in order to obtain U-235 fuel
pellets, which are, basically, uranium
converted and enriched. Subsequently

so that electricity is obtained from U-235.
After a period of over 4 years, the uranium
is spent and it is either re-processed and re-used or stored. In the first option, it is used to generate electricity again, while
