The process diagram describes the production of energy from a specific type of coal.
Overall
, electricity production involves several stages from taking the raw material out of the mines, processing it until is viable for use and later heating it until the gas is produced and,
at the end
, electricity is made and sent to users.
Firstly
, coal is extracted from the mine and taken to the crushed in order to break it into smaller pieces. Once the size of the mineral is acceptable is transported by a truck to the gasifier centre, where heat is applied in order to produce vapour used in the industry. After arriving at the company, a cooling system is used to refrigerate, and the waste of heat is eliminated;
whereas
the rest of the product continues to the following step.
Next,
the vapour is cleaned in another building and taken to the gas power plant where electricity is
finally
produced and ready to use by consumers; there is
also
an excess of heat removed.
