Today’s era is called an internet era which is eponymous with the advancement in the pangs of digital waves all across the world. Education is the most affected sector in the modern world that generally causes people to have a difference of opinion regarding the essence of schools, as most of the information one could find is available online. However, I partially disagree with this statement. In the paragraphs to follow, I shall discuss my point of view regarding the topic.

Scientific trials on animals have been conducted by scientists for centuries for various reasons. While some people strongly deny this act and want it to be banned, others favour the idea and attribute major scientific discoveries to it. In my opinion, conducting tests on animals is fair, as they not only provide a suitable medium to carry out experimentation but also help save human lives.

With the advent of the internet, society has witnessed a revolution in many aspects of life, and entertainent is of no exception. New kinds of pastimes have appeared and probably, one of the most prominent recreations is social media. Rarely do we see a person without a phone full of social applications nowadays and it might be what people spend most of their time with. However, this raises a critical question of whether the incremental popularity of these new kinds of entertainment is actually beneficial or there may exist a potential risk to our daily lives. After weighing up both the merits and demerits of this practice, I myself believe that the former far outweighs the latter, thus substantiating further pursuit of the above enquiry.

It has been claimed that, like smoking, mobile phones should be banned in some places due to their harmful effects. While I accept that the use of mobile phones is antisocial in some ways, I believe it has more benefits and therefore, should not be prohibited.
