, Stokeford underwent a major transformation from a largely rural village with extensive farmland into a much more residential area, with the most noticeable development being the large increase in housing. In 1930, the north and south sides of Stokeford suburb were surrounded specifically by farmland. The middle part of the residential area contained a small number of houses along the main road, a post office, some shops and a primary school.On the southeast side of it, there was a huge house with extensive gardens. By 2010, almost all of the farmland had been replaced by residential buildings, and different new streets were added to accommodate the housing expansion.
